Gifting of Books for India Study Centre, National Library

India and Kyrgyzstan share deep-rooted historical and cultural linkages. The landmark visit of Prime Minister of India to the Kyrgyz Republic in June 2019 elevated the relationship and reinforced our ties. With a view to enhance our cultural cooperation with Kyrgyz Republic, the India Study Centre has been established at the National Library.

There is excellent people-to-people contact between India and Kyrgyz Republic. In order to take the process forward, Ambassador Mr. Arun Kumar Chatterjee met Ms. Nurzhan Imankulova, Director, National Library and gifted books for the India Study Centre at the National Library.

Ambassador also discussed scope of further cooperation with the National Library and expressed his intent to strengthen this mutually beneficial relationship.
