STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP) FOR ACCESSING INDIVIDUAL’S TRAVEL DATA THROUGH “e-FRRO MODULE”
Considering the requests from individuals to access their personal travel details online from the website or app of the concerned immigration authority, a new service in ‘e-FRRO Module’ has been developed by the Concerned Authority which is ready for use. The ‘Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)’ to be followed for considering requests for accessing personal travel details in ‘e-FRRO Module’ is detailed as below:-
An individual, desirous of accessing his/her international travel history data, including that of a minor, shall be able to do so using the URL
STEP-1
User has to register himself/herself on the e-FRRO portal. OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and e-mail to authenticate.
STEP-II
Post successful registration on the portal, the user would have to click on the tab ‘Travel History Data’ for accessing/downloading the data. Once the ‘Travel History Data’ tab opens, the user would have to specify reasons for accessing travel data. Additionally, another option ’upload supporting documents’ would allow the user to upload relevant documents specifying the need to obtain travel data. A selection box at the end of the page would require user to accept the condition that the travel data will not be used in any court of law or for any legal purpose, and the same should be printed in BOLD in the travel state.
STEP-III
After clicking the ‘Travel History Data’ tab, the user would be prompted to select range i.e. ‘From Date’(2011 onwards only)- ‘To date’ of range year by year i.e one year, two years, five years and more than 10 years. Following this step, the user would be redirected to the payment page.
STEP-IV
Post successful payment of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only), user would be asked to select/reschedule a date for physical verification of passport and other relevant documents through personal appearance or through authorized representatives (immediate family members) in exceptional cases (needed to be given in writing) at FRROs, or at the Indian Mission, in case the applicant is abroad.
STEP-V
At the time of physical appearance, the user credentials viz. Passport No., Name (as on Passport), Nationality, relevant documents of a minor (if any) would be verified in original, and request for generating the requisite data would be registered for processing.
STEP-VI
Once the entered credentials are verified and is found to be correct, a PDF or a link to generate PDF with the requisite data would be sent to the user’s registered e-mail (within 03 working days). The PDF containing the requisite data would indicate its intended purpose to avoid and dissuade duplication/alteration of the same for ulterior motives and fraudulent usages. Further, the PDF document generated for Travel Data would be password protected.
