Visit of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Delegation from

the Republic of India to the Kyrgyz Republic

1. A six-member NCC delegation from the Republic of India visited the Kyrgyz Republic from 24-30 September 2024, under the rubric of Memorandum of Understanding on Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) signed between the Ministries of Defence of the Republic of India and the Kyrgyz Republic.

2. The NCC Delegation visited important Defence Institutions namely; the Kyrgyz National Military Lyceum (KNML) and Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic. They saw places of Cultural and Historical interest such as the National Historical Museum, Ata-Beyit Memorial Complex, Rukh-Ordo Cultural Centre, Ala-Too National Square and Victory Square. The delegation also visited Ala-Archa National Park and Issyk-Kul Lake.

3. Every Year, the Republic of India and the Kyrgyz Republic hold YEP with participation of cadets from the KNML and the NCC. The visit of KNML delegation to the Republic of India is scheduled from 15- 29 January 2025, under this programme.
