FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS / DOCTORS

In line with the ancient Indian philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam", which means "The world is one family", National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous body of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India has introduced the Fellowship Programme for International Students (FPIS) to extend advanced medical training opportunities to eligible doctors from across the globe.

Selection

Selection of students to the fellowship programme is based on an entrance test (FET) and admission to the courses is done through centralized merit-based counselling.
The trainee will go through a structured training programme, maintain a performance record book and undergo an examination at the end of the training. Students will be awarded Fellow of National Board of Examinations (FNB) at the annual convocation of NBEMS.

Fellowship Courses

The details of various fellowship courses offered, eligibility criteria, examination fees etc., are given in the Information Bulletin and may be seen at  https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=fet
