Celebration of 75^th Republic Day of the Republic of India

            Embassy of India, Bishkek, celebrated 75^th Republic Day of the Republic of India on 26^th January 2024. Ambassador Shri Arun Kumar Chatterjee unfurled the National Flag which was followed by the singing of the National Anthem of India.

2. Ambassador also read out the Address to the Nation on the eve of the 75^th Republic Day of India by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. More than 400 members of the Indian Diaspora and friends of India in the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the event.
3. A Community reception was also organised on the evening of 24^th January 2024 in the Grand Ball Room of Hotel Sheraton. More than 300 guests including Ministers, Members of Parliament, Diplomatic community, Indian diaspora & Friends of India attended the reception.
4. Mr Avazbek Atakhanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, graced this occasion as the Chief Guest. Ambassador Shri Arun Kumar Chatterjee and the Chief Guest addressed the gathering.
5. There was a cultural performance by Dr. Rupa Chakraborty and her Kathak dance students and by the Kauhar Dance Group in Bishkek.
