Visit of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Delegation from India to the Kyrgyz Republic

 A six-member NCC delegation from India visited the Kyrgyz Republic from 8th to 14th December, 2022, under the rubric of Memorandum of Understanding on Youth Exchange Programmes (YEPs) signed between the Ministries of Defence of India and the Kyrgyz Republic.

2. The NCC Delegation visited some defence institutions including the Kyrgyz National Military Institute, named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Major-General Dair Asanov (KNML), Museum of M.V. Frunze, and the Scorpion Special Forces Brigade in Tokmok. They also saw places of cultural and historical interest such as the State Historical Museum, National Museum of Fine Arts, Ata Beit Memorial Complex, Victory Square and Burana Tower.

3. Every year, India and the Kyrgyz Republic hold YEPs with participation of cadets from the KNML and the NCC. The last visit from the Kyrgyz Republic was from 9th to 17th August 2022, under this programme.
