Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic pays tribute on the occasion of the 147^thbirth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

         Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Arun Kumar Chatterjee paid floral tributes on the occasion of the 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31 October, 2022 at the Embassy of India in Bishkek. Members of the Indian Diaspora, Kyrgyz nationalsand officials of the Embassy joined him in paying tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

2.In his address on the occasion, Ambassador talked about the contribution of Sardar Patelto the freedom movement and unity of India.He mentioned that 31^st October is marked as the “National Unity Day”to pay homage to Sardar Patel, who symbolizes the national unity of India.

3.A photo exhibition depicting the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Heritage of India was inaugurated by the Ambassador at the Embassy premises on the occasion of National Unity Day. The exhibition will remain open for public view from 31 October to 14 November 2022.The participants formed a “Unity Chain” to pledge for the unity of the country.
