Viksit Bharat Run 2026 Under Seva Pakhwada 2026

Dear members of the Indian community, friends of India, ladies and gentlemen,

Namaskar and a very good morning to all of you.

I am happy to join the Viksit Bharat Run 2026, organised by the Embassy of India, Bishkek, as part of Seva Pakhwada 2026.

Seva Pakhwada, observed from 17 September to 2 October, reflects the spirit of Seva—service to society, collective responsibility and active participation in building a better future.

The Viksit Bharat Run carries this spirit forward by bringing people together through fitness, unity, community participation and service. It also reflects India’s larger national aspiration of becoming a Viksit Bharat—a developed India—by 2047, when India completes 100 years of Independence.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 is to build a strong, self-reliant, innovative and inclusive India through “Sabka Prayas”—the collective effort of every citizen. He has particularly emphasised the role of Yuva Shakti, Nari Shakti, innovation and self-reliance, with India’s youth playing a vital role in shaping the nation’s journey towards becoming a developed country by 2047.

Today’s Run therefore carries a meaning much larger than the distance we cover. Every step we take together symbolises our shared resolve towards a healthier society, stronger communities and a developed India.

I am particularly pleased to see members of the Indian community and our Kyrgyz friends participating together today. Your presence reflects the strong bonds of friendship and growing people-to-people ties between India and the Kyrgyz Republic.

I would also like to acknowledge the valuable role of the Indian diaspora in the Kyrgyz Republic, particularly our Indian medical students. As future doctors, you have a special responsibility not only to heal and serve humanity, but also to represent India’s values of compassion, discipline and service. Your knowledge, dedication and spirit of Seva can make a meaningful contribution to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

As we participate in this Run, let us remember its simple and powerful message:

“Run to Serve the Nation.”

Let us carry the spirit of Seva beyond today’s event and make service, fitness, cleanliness, environmental responsibility and responsible citizenship part of our everyday lives.

With the spirit of Sabka Prayas, let every step we take today become a step towards the national resolve of Viksit Bharat @2047.

I congratulate all the participants and appreciate everyone who has contributed to organising this programme.

Let us run together with enthusiasm, unity and a shared sense of purpose.
