Speech of Ambassador on the Occasion of the 10th Ayurveda Day on 23.9.2025

Esteemed Guests, dear friends, Friends from Press & media, Ladies and Gentlemen,

Namaste and a warm welcome to the Embassy of India in Bishkek on this special occasion as we celebrate Ayurveda Day 2025 on the theme “ “Ayurveda for People & Planet”—reminds us that this ancient life-science has far more to offer than health alone; it holds promise for sustaining harmony between individuals, communities, and nature itself.  Today, we have gathered here to honor the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda, India’s ancient science of life, which continues to inspire and heal millions across the globe.

India is proud to share this invaluable heritage with the world. Ayurveda, with its roots dating back over 5,000 years, is not merely a system of medicine but a way of life. Its principles of balance, prevention, and personalized care resonate deeply in today’s world, where health and wellness are paramount. From herbal remedies to yoga and meditation, Ayurveda offers timeless solutions to modern challenges, fostering resilience and vitality.

In Kyrgyzstan, a land renowned for its natural beauty and rich cultural traditions, we see a growing appreciation for holistic health practices. The shared reverence for nature in both Indian and Kyrgyz cultures creates a natural bridge for collaboration. The Embassy of India is committed to deepening this connection by promoting Ayurveda through  these initiatives. We are delighted to witness the increasing interest among Kyrgyz friends in yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic therapies, which strengthen the bonds of friendship between our two nations.

Through initiatives like the Ministry of AYUSH and World Health Organization in India, we are working to integrate traditional knowledge with modern science, ensuring that Ayurveda’s benefits reach every corner of the world, including the beautiful land of Kyrgyzstan.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you all for joining us in this celebration. Your presence underscores the universal appeal of Ayurveda and the shared vision of a healthier, more harmonious world. Thank you once again for being here. I wish you all a joyful and enriching Ayurveda Day.
