Online Classes for Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Odissi Dance Forms

                 The Embassy of India in Bishkek is pleased to announce that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in cooperation with Routes2Roots, an organisation working in the area of digital learning of performing arts and Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), an autonomous organisation under Ministry of Culture of Government of India, is conducting online classes w.e.f. 15th January, 2024 for Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Odissi dance forms. The duration of the classes for each discipline will be one year and certificates will be given to successful candidates. The classes will be held by the following renowned artists:

  1. The details of the classes are as under:
  1. The classes will be divided in four trimesters of three months each.
  2. The Minimum age for registration in the classes will be 17 years.
  3. The classes will commence from 15thJanuary, 2024 onwards at 1530 hours (Kyrgyz Standard time) for Odissi students every Monday, for Bharatnatyam students every Wednesday and for Kathak students every Friday.
  4. A nominal fees equivalent to US$ 20 per student will be charged in advance for the classes.
  5. English language will be the medium of instructions.
  6. The candidates can register for one or more disciplines.
  7. There will be no midterm admission of any candidate.
  1. The participants will be able to access the classes online. The infrastructure/technical requirements for attending the classes is as under:

       a) A computer/LED Display preferably 55 inches and above with webcam and              

       b) Internet connection

  1. The CCRT will conduct periodic evaluation of the students and issue certificates to the students on successful completion of the classes with minimum 75% attendance.

  3. Applicant has to take the printout of the dully filled-in application and submit it at the Embassy along with fees and other relevant documents mentioned below :-

       (a) Copy of current passport’s front page, last page and visa/resident permit page

       (b) Proof of local address (utility bill or lease agreement copy or a letter issued by the Company stating the address of the applicant)
