Death Case

In the event of the death of an Indian citizen in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy facilitates in the issue of a Death Certificate and “No Objection” Certificate for the transport of the mortal remains of the deceased person to India.

 2. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ISSUING A DEATH CERTIFICATE BY THE EMBASSY FOR TRANSPORTATION OF THE MORTAL REMAINS TO INDIA

  1.  Application to the Embassy for intimation of death and issuance of death certificate.
  2. Death Certificate issued by the authorities in the Kyrgyz Republic along with a translated copy in English (Apostle and translation copy).
  3. Photocopy of the post-mortem report both in Russian/ Kyrgyz and English languages.
  4. Embalming Certificate.
  5. Certificate for transportation of mortal remains.
  6. Certificate of disinfection work performed (Apostle and translation copy)
  7. Original passport of the deceased for cancellation.

 

 3. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR “NO OBJECTION” CERTIFICATE (NOC) TO BE ISSUED BY THE EMBASSY

  1.  Request letter from the "next of kin" of the deceased.
  2. Original and copy of the passport of the next of kin. (1st and last pages)
  3. Original and copy of the passport of the deceased.
  4. Death certificate from local authorities
  5. Police report in case of unnatural death at home or due to accident.
  6. Copy of FIR filed by family in case of accident or unnatural death.

 

 NOTE:

 4. All documents in Russian or Kyrgyz languages should be translated into English language before submission to the Embassy.

 5. Once the NOC is issued, the next of kin of the deceased person can receive the dead body from the local authorities.
