Passport Services
Welcome to the passport services of the Embassy of India, Bishkek. Embassy has now been integrated with the Global Passport Sewa Project (GPSP). Applicants are requested to apply though the given web Link (https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html) for Fresh / re-issue (Renewal/Lost/Damage) of passport, Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), Emergency Certificate (EC) and Surrender Certificate etc. services are:
Steps to apply for Passport Services online at
https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html :-
Step 1: Create USER ID by clicking on Register link
Step 2: Login using the USER ID and fill the application form online
Step 3: Submit the form online
Step 4: Take a print out of the application form
Step 5: Affix your recent coloured photograph (white background with size 2” X 2“) at the designated place
Step 6: The completed application may be printed and submitted at the Embassy on any working day between 09.00 to 12.30 hours along with other required documents.
Applicants may sometimes face difficulty in accessing the online application format due to technical reasons. In such circumstances, it is advisable to try after a while. Applicants are also advised to use computers with latest version software/ operating systems.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS
- All applications should be filled in with full details. Incomplete applications would be rejected.
- All applications must be accompanied by photocopies of their current passports.
- All photocopied documents must be self-attested by the applicants. In case of minors, their parents must attest the photocopies.
- Applicants must check all entries in Passport application forms before submission. It is the responsibility of applicant to give correct details, spelling etc.
- Embassy can call any applicant for interview, in case documents are not in order, details are missing, etc
- Applicants are responsible for details mentioned in application.
- Applicants are liable for legal action if they provide false information.
- All photocopied documents must be self-attested by the applicants. In case of children below, 15 years, their parents must attest the photocopies.
- Photos submitted for all types of passport services must be recent (less than 3 months).
- Applicants must check all entries in Passport application forms before submission. It is the responsibility of applicant to give correct details, spelling etc.
Applicants may please note that New Passport booklets are printed in India (Delhi). Applicants are intimated through e-mail/telephone/mobile on arrival of their passports from India. Requested to provide E-mail ID / Contact numbers during submission of ONLINE Application at the Embassy.
Time Schedule for Passport services:
Issue of New Passports/Re-issue (Renewal/lost/Damaged) Passports: 2-3 Weeks

- In case of minor child, request for issuance of passport should bear signatures of both parents.

NEW PASSPORT FOR NEWBORN CHILD WITH BIRTH REGISTRATION
(5 YEARS VALIDITY)

- Duly filled online application through the given link https://portal3.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html signed by the parents and Child's thumb impression (Left thumb for male and for right thumb for female).
- Photograph with light white background with no photo-shop touching pasted in the space provided.
- Three additional photographs (3.5 x 3.5 inch).
- Original passport with photocopy of all pages of personal particulars and current visa page of parents.
- Copy of the Birth Certificate for the birth registered at the EOI, Bishkek or original and photocopy of Birth certificate apostilled by the competent authority (which does not require attestation by the Embassy) or attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and subsequently attested by the EOI, Bishkek.
- English Translation of birth certificate attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kyrgyz Republic.
- In case of minor child, request for issuance of passport should bear signatures of both parents.

ENDORSEMENT OF SPOUSE’S NAME/SURNAME AFTER MARRIAGE

- Original passports with Photocopy of all pages of personal particulars and current visa page.
- Original Marriage Certificate with photocopy, self attested by applicant if issued in India and appostilled/ attested by Indian authorities.
- If Marriage certificate issued by Kyrgyz authorities, it should be appostilled/ attested by Kyrgyz Ministry of foreign affairs and subsequently by EOI, Bishkek.
- For change of surname (for female), an Affidavit Form is to be filled.
- Proof of residence in Kyrgyzstan
- Request letter by both husband and wife for addition of name in the passport.

CHANGE /ADDITION OF NAME/SURNAME IN CASE OF ADULT

- Request letter for change of name.
- Copy of original advertisement in two dailies, one in the area of the applicant’s present address and another in the area of the applicant’s permanent address.

- Original passports with photocopy of all pages of personal particulars and current visa page.
- Affidavit Form to be filled by applicant.

- Original passports with photocopy of all pages of personal particulars and current visa page.
- Proof of new address in original (lease deed/telephone bill/electricity bill or any other document in the name of applicant) along with photocopy.
- In case the service is also required for spouse and dependent Children, their passports in original with photocopies (all pages of personal particulars, address and current visa page).
- All cases will be treated individually and separate fee charged.
